From my understanding, there are limited ways to send tangible goods at this point because of the high cost of transportation and shipping. My recommendation would be to call your local churches or community centers to see if they are having rumage/garage sales...or hold one yourself. Take the monies earned and research organizations to find one you feel confident will put your money to good use. I commend your sweet spirit. The world needs more people like you! Is there somewhere we can donate clothing for Haiti and if there is who do we contact. I am not able to donate any money but I have a tremendous amount of clothing and in good condition and for reasons I do not care to donate to agencies like the Salvation army that seems to only sell their donated goods and at a unbelievable costly price.
